Nestling in the very rural tiny Cornish hamlet of Eastcott stands this large detached old cottage, which backs onto a small working farmand is set within its own quarter acre garden. The surrounding countryside is totally unspoilt, with pretty wooded lanes and natural grassland.Alittle way out of the village, there is a first class farm shop and the nearby village of Kilkhampton offers a good range of facilities, including a small supermarket, pubs and a fish and chip shop. Thecoastin this area is quite spectacular, boasting some of the highest cliffs in England, and there are marvellous scenic walks along the coastal path. Further, a number of golf courses and beaches are easily accessible andyou can even enjoy riding at Gooseham Barton (1.5 miles). Eastcott Cottageis comfortably furnished, in keeping with the style and age of the property, and has a lovely restful atmosphere (a North wind does bring the occasional farmyard smell), which may lead one to imagine that Eastcott is still much the same now as it was over a hundred years ago.
