Burridge House is the original farmhouse of Burridge Farm. A new farmhouse was built in about 1930 and this one abandoned and used as a pigsty. It was neglected for sixty years until the farmer restored it in 1990. It still retains the character of the original house with its thick stone walls, deep windowsills and some exposed beams upstairs. The house has a welcoming feel to it and you will start to unwind as soon as you get there. It is spacious and well equipped to cater for eight people in comfort.
Burridge House is an impressive, detached farm house set in 2 acres of stunning gardens in the idyllic, tranquil Coombe valley, 1.5 miles from the coast and 5 miles north of Bude, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close to a number of superb beaches including Sandymouth and Northcott Mouth and a 1.5 mile walk to Duckpool at the bottom of the valley this amazing location is going to be very popular.
